    ... went very well, especially for me as I had TSA Precheck and sailed through security. We got some breakfast sandwiches and OJ for breakfast and then went to our gate. We left on time and were in Columbus by 2:00. When they tried to unload the baggage from our plane there was a swarm of bees and they couldn't do it. That did not delay us ...

    ... way through. Upon arrival at Dallas the weather was no surprise, it was just as I'd left it: hot, steamy and stormy. After a couple of hours my next flight left for Columbus, by this stage due to a lack of sleep I couldn't even stay awake for take-off.     ... Back home that rhythm is gone.

    The plan is to make this the last point for the Go East Trip. Some lessons learned, some highlights and we'll see what else makes it in.


    Lessons Learned

    • The GSA gas tank can deform due to vacuum pressure. I got a pretty big dimple on the right side during the trip that subsequently went away when I got home.
      • An extra gallon of gas would have been nice to have ...

    ... to the Polar bears which we just managed to scrape in before Zach got too tired. Both the brown and the Polar bears were obviously very hot and sitting in the water trying to keep cool. They had a great under water viewing area but as you can imagine they weren’t moving much.
