    ... our connection to Koln.

Around 8:26 we climbed off our train and beat it to Platform 3 as noted on our ticket. The train was scheduled to leave at 8:36 - schedule a bit tight but no biggie. BUT, as it turned out, the train for that platform was not headed to Koln. A quick question to a DB agent told that our platform was 8 and not 3. So much for the ticket info. ***NOTE TO SELF - always check the boards at the stations. Ticket info is not always ...

The cathedral was started in 1248 and after 300 years they ran out of money so ...

During this tour I could imagine many children wondering and being separated from the group so during a school tour I would be very careful not to be entranced by the Cathedral and keep an ...

    ... lettuce leaf.

By the time I arrived at Cologne it was 9:25 at night which greatly tempted me to flop down on my bed and leave everything for the next day but I pushed through, and explored some of the city to scout for a suitable place for dinner. As I walked along the bank the serenity was broken by clinking plates and glasses and in just one block of loud bustling restaurants and clubs I smelt, heard and felt ...
