... Historic State Park in Cleveland, Tn via Cohutta, Ga towards Chickamauga Battlefield in Fort Ogletyhorpe, Ga.
This church was built in 1830's before the Indians were removed in 1838...it was also used as a hospital during the Civil War and they said the blood stains can still be seen on the floor boards inside the church...amazing!!!
... and white and in the corner it has the Confederate flag with stars and diagonal stripes. Georgia, is similar to MS only on the corner they have their own confederate flag..
Its worth appreciating that the stripes on the stars and stripes represent the thirteen colonies that rebelled against the UK originally. In fact Virginia still calls itself a commonwealth state!!!

Nearby is the Willstown Cemetery which is where Cherokee Indians were buried after the mission had started. I'm guessing that the missionaries in this area were Scottish, given the names of the American Indians. There used to be gravestones, but they were all made of natural biodegradable material, so not here now.
Headed for town centre and discovered they had a railroad museum, yep that was shut too.
