Yesterday we drove down to Laverstoke Mill which is now the Bombay Sapphire Distillery. We had watched a Megafactories documentary on the restoration of the mill and loved getting to see it and to learn about making the gin. Since the tour didn't start until 11:00am, we investigated the gift shop which was almost as big as the studio. It was filled with all the paraphernalia you could imagine about Harry Potter. There were key rings to broom sticks, replicas of wands to the robes of ...

... to Warwick castle when I was 12, it was everything I'd dreamed, as a kid in a castle, you can't imagine anything better, the scope of the place was huge, I was hooked. Returning was worrying, I knew it wouldn't seem as large anymore, I was determined to see the archery show which I never got to see as a kid. Benny comes along with us for our day trip, he's so excited we have to tell him to stop barking or they will find him inside the backpack, we don't want to have to ...
