And so after a long flight - 12+ hours - we arrived in Paris, grabbed a quick drink and then on to Birmingham. Unfortunately, Pat's suitcase decided to stop off in Paris but will hopefully be delivered tomorrow! Back to a sunny UK, with a temperature not much cooler than Hanoi yesterday, where the blossom is in full swing. Lots of memories of a lovely holiday. ...

A short flight to Paris before we boarded Air France plane for the long flight to Vietnam. We dozed a bit, read a bit and watched films a bit to while away the time. Somewhere along the way we lost 7hrs in time difference and most of Thursday. And so we arrived - not sure if it was Thursday or Friday - ready to start our adventures. ...
... part, I got accused of "widdiling in the well". Basically, according to the story, I worked at the castle cleaning the sewers, and peed in the well. It was quite fun.
One really funny part, was one of the people that was with our section of the group who was not part of the group, kept getting called to do things. And at every part, they would ask her her name. I can't remember her name, but it was really funny how she always was ...
... working with us for the evening are very friendly, enthusiastic and personable. After a few hours of fun we headed into town for dinner by-passing the medieval "Buffett"
Upon awakening, the sounds and smells of breakfast are experienced. The clatter of dishes and laughter comes passing through the grounds leading you toward the main tent. Inside are all the wonders of the current times, coffee and latte makes, juicers, weird European toasters and vats filled ...
... TV show. The best part was the opening act with the head of the guard admitting people through the castle gates. He was looking for "Yorkie spies." This guys was fantastic-he described what would happen to anyone breaching the gate of Warwick Castle in gruesome details thus entertaining and teaching at the same time. Kept coming back ...
