... eager to share their knowledge and have great pride in their produce . They all exclaim " Ah, Australie, molto distante" when they find out where we are from. They are delighted, bit puzzled as to how we found our way to La Morra.
We booked into a 5th generation family estate "Marrone Cru". Nonna cooked Pranza (lunch) and with each of the 6 courses we had a glass of matched wine , sitting in the cellar with other guests.
... The cafes are so beautiful they are like mini- Versailles palaces. There are so many of them, each one more glittering than the last.
Noel was snapping away like a turtle with his camera , also in heaven !!!
Enjoy the pictures , we are off to the south of Turin now , 1hour away , to stay in the wine growing district of Barolo , in the very small 16th century town of La Morra for a week

Not much to say on this, we were both very disappointed with Turin. We felt that we done a lot of driving in the city for nothing really, its not the easiest place to get around.
The Bed and Breakfast that we stayed in was very nice , very clean and modern, no complaints there, her English was limited, but we were able to understand each other.

... cities and I am very luck to have the opportunity to travel here. A big thank you to Carlortta for meeting up and helping me out trying to find a place to stay here too! Now though, I'm heading back to a few cool places, as I think there's more to be seen in the north west... Starting off with a concert tomorrow in Padova! And I may check out the other side of lake Garda, it's huge! We'll catch up in Florence people! Ciao for now, ...
