    ... They had a beautiful shop, nursery and farm produce shop, similar to Chatsworth bit on a smaller scale. It is worth a visit. It is close to the lovely little village of Kenton. Next we drove down to the beach in Sidmouth-the beach was very pebbly. Next drove to Lyme Regis which is similar to St Ives. Lovely drive down into the town-sat by the beach and had ice cream and walked a little way up the street. Have lovely shops. Next came Bridport ...

    ... evolve as the cliffs are eroded by the sea – lots of areas closed off due to rock falls. The clay and limestone deposits erode much faster than the stone, causing the cliffs to "crumple" and appear almost vertical. The scenery there was much more spectacular - see the photos. Unfortunately, that was all we had time for – we drove home a different way which took only 1¼ hrs!

    ... I had printed at home.

    I was pretty bummed out that we drove right by Stonehenge and did not have the time to park and take a look. I have been there before, back in the days when one could walk among the stones and touch them. Now there are fences around the stones and nobody can get within 50 feet of them. I’m glad we visited them when we did.
