Spots of rain after breakfast came as a shock but had passed by11.30 so we took the opportunity to go on the bikes as planned for today. ... any fresher? There has been a market on this site since before 1370 when the present one replaced a wooden one. There is a sense of community here as everyone appears to know everyone else, a meeting place for locals who welcome strangers with the same friendly manner they have for each other. A very nice market, one of my favourites!
