    ... We had to buy some kitchen utensils and plates and cups for our bungalows. Two of the three bungalows we rented online didn't provide them. We booked the rooms a few months in advance but that wasn't enough time to get a full kitchen with utensils for 9 nights. But that's OK with us. We'll be happy to be cooking for ourselves again.

    We were moving on today to the southern camp near the Malelane Gate for exit to the Kruger tomorrow. I was able to spend an hour around camp before breakfast and found some new species for the trip. A lifer for me was a White-winged Widowbird. I also managed good photos of Arrow-marked Babbler and White-browed Robin-chat.

    ... they have got used to them being around and don’t see them as a threat. Most of the animals have been used to the jeeps being around every day since they were born and don’t worry about them. One baby elephant tried to stand up the the jeep one day, then turned around and ran to his Mum. He was so cute.
