      ... was a series of fountains in the shape of fish. No idea what that was about.

      I thought I was also drive to Lier which is a smaller town but it took me ages to get even near it as the queues of traffic were crazy. No idea what was going on but the traffic was worse than Brussels. In the end I got fed up and decided to go straight to my B&B as I was tired and fed up at this point. My love for Belgium had really waned....

      ... arrivals hall and you can see the taxi’s lined up outside
      the airport waiting for you like prey. I was not ready to deal with them yet so
      I parked myself in a chair opposite and my brain went into overtime. Visiting
      the bathrooms I was amused to discover that there were apron clad women acting
      as “bathroom attendants” who look after the bathrooms and stand over them like
      guards. What they think you’re going to do in there I have no idea.
