... south Tehran is poor... And more. All in a 20 minutes and well worth the fare.
The rental car has sat nav, thank goodnes. However, we are now on pretty familiar turf. We headed off to Bad Homburg for lunch at our favourite potato restaurant. Now we are in Usingen at one of our favourite little hotels, the Kaminstube and are meeting our friends, Adelheid and Joachim for supper.
... all around the area. David and I took many pictures. In some areas they had photographs of the destruction that took place in WWII. The photos showed the before and after reconstruction. Visited two Catholic churches that had been reconstructed as they once were. The architecture shows the influence of Dutch.
Our time is up and we must return to the airport.
Because I have special needs we get to board ...

This pinnacle was reached as we got out of the car at Heathrow. It had just been so perfect, nobody wanted it to end. Everything had been so utterly perfect. Nobody wanted it to end, we just wanted to stay, to continue to explore the Cotswolds as a trio. In the words of the Lion King 'Our trio's down to two.'

Well ... L'il Buddha has been my token for this trip. I've been to so many incredible places and seen so many stunning sights on this trip, it's been such a blur ... at times, it seems like one big, beautiful dream. L'il Buddha has always been at my side, and has served as proof that it all has been real.
But sadly, the time has come to awaken ...
... a pedestrian bridge. The road along the other side of the river has a number of museums. Walk along a bit found a business area full of shops and eateries. Found a place for lunch called Zum Gaermate Haus serves tradition Germany fare. I have pork chop and Dave has bratwurst . Both came with Sauerkraut and bread. Of course we have some more apple wine. After lunch we went to a grocery store at the basement of Woolworth. Small place, guess ...
