... anymore. The interior has been converted to a shopping centre so I didn't bother going in. On the outside there was a glass elevator which goes to the roof. I was almost going to brave it until I noticed the walkway between the elevator and the roof was glass/perspex and I decided I'd get a better view of the city climbing up to MNAC in the other side of the square. My little apartment is absolutely adorable. Most of the streets in barri gothic are pedestrian only, much too narrow for a single car to go through. I was a little worried when I first started down the alleyway but the I saw the huge door for the building. I wonder how old it is. I am now the proud carrier of an actual skeleton key to open that bad boy. Maria is the property manager. Lovely ...

... it!! The timber, use of light, different sized windows and types of glass.... The man was brilliant!! The photos show a limited view of the building and don't show the feel at all. It sounds odd but the timber felt amazing. It was grainy and carved perfectly for the human hand. It was oak and perfect.
We spent well over an hour exploring the house then we scoffed at the over priced gift shop ...

... of shops that I'd like to explore. this whole area seems to have nice shops and i love me some shopping in cut shoops!! Finally made it to the restaurant which we gave mixed reviews. I got gazpacho (OK), some bread with manchego cheeds (o die for) and some iberian ham croquettes (not that great). Cynth had salmon, which was almost raw in the center so she sent it back to have it cooked some more, and my mother got some iberian pork with white ...

... bang flat - must have checked them with a level; the wifi works everywhere! The view over the Mediterranean is superb - we are on the fourth terrace up and have parked the van sideways - Bona vista - most definitely!
