... it just seemed wierd driving me self to the airport.... either way all went well, was up late said ta heck with it and went to bed. The ironic part of it all is that its a bike trip...the idea is to take as little as possible...yet it is painful to figure out what to take it seems.
So woke up at the crack of whatttt it can't be time to get up yet....and commenced to will myself to get it packed up. I can report...I think I got what I need ...

Another great free thing is the Art Gallery. I wasn't expecting much but I was to be mistaken, I'd only planned to spend a couple of hours but spent the day. ... back to 4 stars - this is more like 3. There is no fridge in the room - our view is of a construction sight. I'm thinking everything will get prettier as it gets dark - like Darlinghurst. We had dinner at the bar attached to the hotel. There were many televisions. My meal was lovely - salad with salmon. The wine was lovely - Monkey Bay Sav Blanc from NZ. Things don't look so bad. Decided to spend the night in our uninspiring room with the view of a construction ...
... available for hire but the thing I liked most on this side were the two quirky bronze statues at either corner. Since we cant read French we couldnt actually establish the purpose of the statues but they were just interesting to look at. On one corner was a man holding a pug and wearing a pointing nose mask, whilst on the other corner there was a woman holding a poodle with the exact same nose mask.
