Express Inn, Lichfield. Weather foggy then sunny and dry Picked up Samara and drove to Stoke-on-Trent to the Wedgwood museum. It was very interesting learning about the history of the company started by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1750s. He was also an innovator in pottery processes, local politics eg. Canals to bring goods and export goods to the coastal ports. The museum had a vast display of pottery, china etc. we had ...

Will do some exploring ...

Now they tell us! A lovely dinner with Aunty Steph again (Uncle Simon having left for Korea on Saturday) with some lovely wine (it is rather advantageous having a sibling who is a wine expert!) & ...

... very individual pieces. It was great to browse. We continued on through the village and stopped and had coffee, Marg had cream tea (Devonshire tea) and I had coffee and cake. When we left the cafe it started to pour rain, we I ran back to the car and brought it around for Marg to jump in. We continued on in the brief rain shower to Stratford-upon-Avon. We arrived on the outskirts of Stratford and found Anne Hathaway's house close by, so turned and parked ...
