... got out of the jeep and overlooked the beach and village below where we could see these small round boats that the fisherman use to go out to sea at night. Our next stop was the white sand dunes - the sky had clouded over and the clouds were looking a suspicious dark grey colour. We managed to make it to the sand dunes before the rain started. ... not exist !! Having said that, I really enjoyed the sleeper bus, found it very comfortable. Scenery/ geography is flatter and dryer with more coconut, mango and banana groves - home to lots of goats and sheep. I amused myself, passing the time by talking my way down the road - this is a good tip as a driving instructor in the hope that the driver is thinking the same. Good idea back home but not here ! ... six people in the jeep! We took a bumpy 30 minute or so ride to the dunes. Once we got there we took a four wheeler up to the top of one of the dunes. We were then given time to explore other dunes, take pictures, etc. It was a really amazing place. The dunes were big and the sand was so soft. It was really relaxing to be there, even with all the people around.
