London: the last several days

... the offending one. I had to scroll though
again to show that it had been deleted. From that point I was careful not to
take close ups of obvious Muslim women.

I had no problem getting permission to take photographs of
some guys who I think are from Pakistan who were selling some sweets. I
purchased something similar to a dense cake that was infused with coconut
syrup. Delicious but sticky as hell.

Today was a rainy day so we decided to tackle the British Museum (despite the probable crowds) which houses the foundations of Western civilization that the Brits stole from Egypt, Greece, Italy, Asia, China and the Middle East. We got on a couple of double decker buses hoping to make it to the end of the line which would have been Covent Gardens, The buses and Tube do odd things on Sunday, like ending lines with little notice so we had to get off at Trafalgar Square. What do you do on your last day and night in London? Well, you can't go wrong with shopping and musical theatre. We arrived back in London around noon and after a couple of trips around the block, we were able to find our hotel. It's adequate at best and a bit cramped at worst. The woman who seems to own/run the place MUST have a sister who works in the Paris train station...scamming tourists...cause this hotel woman was a bit of a scammer too.
