Arrived back in Vancouver at 10:53 pm and stayed at the crummy Executive Suite again (for the last time). The room was extremely hot and had to leave the door and window open to cool it down. Didn't get any supper that night as there was nowhere to eat. I think I had some snacks and water in my bag.

We decided to use public transport to get to Baltimore airport. We walked a half mile to the metro, caught three different metro trains because they were doing work on the green line and then caught the metrolink direct bus to the airport. The kids were over it by the end but we saved money and enjoyed the different experience. This was our first Southwest flight and even though they don't do assigned seating it was fine.

... 8 dollars but we could use the walk.
Canada milks the tourists for all it can get. We bought hot dogs from a street vendor2 for 11 dollars when I had seen them advertised on the walk to the cliff for 2 dollars each.
On top of the cliff there are a few shops a bar street vendors with crowds to fill them up. One thing we have noticed that in all these outside areas there are no public toilets you have to go into a commercial building to access these ...

We flew WestJet from London to Vancouver. See attached pictures for a view of the Rockies from the plane.
We were running late coming into London due to the slow traffic on the 401, but it didn't matter because my younger brother, John, and his fiance, Sabine, were caught in it too, so no one had started to eat the turkey feast, and the spread of desserts my parents had laid out for us. My parents, my older brother, Noel, and his girlfriend warmly greeted us after we rang the doorbell. They hadn't changed as much as the city. I noticed heavy development ...
London, Ontario, Canada robsargeantA short drive west of Niagara Falls through Canada's foggy bumpy roads and we arrive at the City of London. Home to the River Thames, St Pauls Cathedral, Oxford Street and Victoria Park. However the comparision to its English namesake ends there, with London, Ontario being cleaner, smaller and friendlier. You don't want to know how long I stayed on those things.
After that, we strolled around the lake for about an hour, which was lovely. Here we found ducks, grumpy geese, ducks, physics-defying trees, more ducks, and... ducks.
Again, the girls took it upon themselves to snap photos of Nick and I without our knowing. Sneaky.
Finally, we headed ...
Only 22 days to go and then I'm off to New Zealand for the start of my around the world trip. I just picked up my Australia work visa yesterday and my plane tickets. I am still so unorganised and still have to sell my car. I've only had one person interested so far, so I'm getting a little nervous.
