... we are in horse country. There are fields with herds of horses, and all kinds of horsey signs and accessories. We have gone from wide open fields of grain that go for miles with only a house here and there to more populated farm land with more trees. The road quickly travels through horse farms to more and more populated areas - I guess you call it the suburbs. Before you know it - holy cow - we are in traffic. More traffic than we have seen since ...
Leduc, Alberta, Canada vwinans... is where things get complicated. I would love to go to Yalta but that would extend me another 12 hours towards the east. Initially, I was planning on going but then I realized the more I went east the harder it is to make it back to Frankfurt for my flight. Today, I am planning my trip back to Frankfurt. I could easily go back on my foot steps but what fun is that. I will stick to major centres so ...

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada senorbrian... sniff sniff...tears in beer and all that....lounge is full and they kick us out at 10:30....put a few drinks from the fridge in our bags and go to the gate to sit some more.....to date I've not slept at all....too ticked. Finally midnight hits...we are not on the plane still.....then in the distance down the hallway we see a pilot heading our way...."MAKE ROOM!!!" I yell to cut the crowds in a vane effort to get the ball rolling here. We actually offered to carry him ...
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada tyamkovy... are becoming two peas in a pod though and I can't even tell you how cute that is. If only humans were so open. The weather has gotten colder and it has prevented me from going to my fav festival of the Edmonton, Heritage Days. I was miserable and rainly and windy and cold today. I refuse to brave the elements just for a taste of what I have already known. So maybe if tomorrow is better, I may try. Otherwise, it looks like I will miss it this year. Grateful for magic buttons.
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada whereshegoes... it locks. Being locked out in the cold (and it wasn't a nice day...and I was only wearing a tees shirt) on the 20th floor is not the best situation. Luckily, with the technology of cell phones, I was able to call my mum who gave me the phone number of the building manager. I was a little embarrassed when he had to come in my front door to see me peering in through the glass covered in goosebumps. But all is well and now I know not to ...
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada whereshegoes... thing is that I have realized that happiness and contentment are my natural state. So when something is out of line with that thread of being then its like a wakeup call. And over the years, it has become more fine tuned. I hear it faster, louder and it the sharpness of the warning signs are almost enough to jolt me back on track. Almost. There is still a bit of legwork to be done. Grateful for red flags.
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada whereshegoes... interest debt to help you get that financial nuse around your neck. Sadly a good worker, Is One whos depserate for money, As an employer your garunteed he will show up to work, even when sick and even work beyond retirement, Bacause by then he will have dedicated so much of his life to his job, he will no longer know what to do with his free time. I hope all of this makes sense, it went on a little longer then i had expected and i expect most people will have stoped reading long ago.
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada senorbrianGame 4 vs Quebec -- Loss 0-4 Ok, so I think I've figured something out about the players here at Nationals.....Terri-Lynn would have done just fine here being the size she is. I'm not kidding you when I say that about half of the Quebec team was about 5' tall....AND FAST!! "Excuse moi, while I run circles ...
Leduc, Alberta, Canada tll-tina... OUCH!! Literally at time......but WOW did we step our games up for it!! So, yes.....first game was against Alberta and we ended up losing 3-0. Let me tell you though it was a phenomenal game. We really stepped into our zone quickly, no real game 1 jitters....we just stepped on and played. We didn't get many chances in ...
