The middle of Florida is a mystery to me. Setting aside the tourist mecca of Orlando with its infamous Disney World (which I have visited on more than a couple occasions), I find I know very little about the vast middle of Florida. It is here that Casey and I are camped - near Lake Okeechobee - smack dab in the middle of Southern Florida.
