Greg kept plenty busy in Livingston, with every morning and afternoon filled with lessons for folks wanting to be more comfortable driving their RV. We also enjoyed the 2 1/2 days of "Boot Camp" put on by Escapees - even after 10 years of full-timing, there were still new things to be learned.

After New Orleans we stopped for one night in Beaumont,Texas but didn't get to see anything other than the motel room and Grill Restaurant accross the street. Then it was straight onto Bastrop to visit Dylan's friend Darren and his girlfriend Jess. We stopped on the way at an old car yard selling restored classics, they were very cool but pretty pricey.

... s super maintenance knowledge, she was tired of looking out the RV window and seeing streaking wiper blades when we have light rain.

I'm starting to get fascinated with Cattle Drives! I need to 'discover' something of historical interest on this trip, to go to the end of dusty roads and say 'I found it', something worth finding! Aha, I'm going to find the Chisholm Trail--we are going to put some on extra miles doing this.... stay tuned!
