    El Paso - not!

    ... we had to visit at least once. Sells multitudinous types of RVs as well as accessories.

    Crossed into Mew Mexico.

    Then a big dust storm hit, reducing visibility and sending huge tumbleweeds across the road. Passed groves of pecan trees and arrived at Deming, the middle of nowhere with 15 RV parks and numerous motels.

    So we never did see Rosa's ...

    ... over the divide in country that we've been through before. It's the most "empty" country we've seen, people-wise, but still beautiful. It's been quite a while since we've seen any livestock and here there were none. We got to Deming after about two hundred miles. It's a pretty sad little town. I counted four abandoned gas stations, but the absolute worst, since it was lunchtime, was the closed and for sale Dairy Queen! I had my ol' mouth ...

    ... temp gage stayed right where it was supposed to.

    We went over a plateau where Hwy 10 meets up with Hwy 20 and the vista and the views from the top were awesome to behold. A person can see for miles and miles and see desert, and sand, and bushes and sand and rocks and sand and cacti and sand...Well, you get the drift...

    We left Patagonia State Park and left a bit of Stan behind for the birds to use - he got a haircut on the camp site and the birds can use the clippings for their nests. We are headed for New Mexico now. On our way we drove through Tombstone Az - the OK corral is re-enacted daily. Bet the Earps and doc Holiday ...

    ... not have hookups here but the weather was nice, warm and had a great breeze coming through the windows. Driving to Wilcox, AZ tomorrow so we expect another border check by AZ officials looking at the vegetables we have in the RV – hope we don’t have to throw out too much!
