We spent a great 10 days at the Canal Campground at Land Between the Lakes outside of Paducah, Kentucky. While we were there we went to the BBQ on the River in Paducah . This is annual event where they close down the streets downtown and have a party for three days with about 40 BBQ teams who cook and smoke chicken and pork. The BBQ was great. There are benches to sit at and enjoy the scenery and there are picnic tables, playgrounds and nice fields for the kids to play in. I can't wait to go back here again.
