Hey, we're on the road again. We finally got things in good enough shape to leave on
schedule on 10/14. We had a great visit with our friends, Phil & Doris Crain, in Cabot, AR.
We played Sticks Rummy every evening.s
We left there this morning and are now camped just south of Memphis in a very nice
campground, EZ DAZE RV Park. It was a short day on the road but tiring due to the wind,
not quite as bad as the day we left home but it still made ...
... diner food!!! After this we headed to the zoo. It was pretty warm out 77 degrees and the zoo was packed!!! We walked around for an hour or so then headed to a park nearby. We ended our night at the St. Louis bread Co. aka Panera Bread!!! It is the same place just different name here as it originated here in Missouri. As most of you know I was a little hesitant to go up in the arch, I was very happy I decided to go. The ride up was not so bad, and Josh's hand made it although his fingers did turn purple from me holding on so tight. :) Once we arrived to the top it was awesome....the view was amazing. ... We toured Randy's old school that he went to, the house that he was brought up in, and the school that he went to. Then we proceeded to Bill and Jean Meckfessel's house. We are enjoying their hospitality and taking a break from being in the truck so long.
