After bundling in to the gangs taxi back to DT St. Louis we agreed to meet back up with everyone for Derby De Mayo on Washington Ave. In the UK having 9 people in a 7 seater cab definitely would not be allowed; crazy! we met back up later at the festival at about 6, which quickly turned in to a tequila filled drinking session in a tent on the street, with a mexican food stand, Margarita girls, and live mexican/spanish music. We took the kids to see the Gateway Arch in St. Louis and they also got to see the great Mississippi. We went inside to try to get a tram ride to the top, but seeing as it was Memorial Day Weekend, it was packed, and the first available tram was a 3 hour wait. We decided to walk through the museum instead.
