      ... than the Manhattan chowder. It was a little chilly outside in the gazebo, so after we'd eaten, it was back to our room for a coffee and another glass of wine, before the kids left after 11pm ! I didn't realize how late it was ! It worked out really well getting the food as "take out" because it's easier with the kids, and also we could drink our own wine without corkage - and no tips involved ! Bonus ...

      Just down the road was Rapazzini Winery and their tasting room was still open. Lucky for us, we were the only customers at the time and Adam Pagnagni, the tasting room manager welcomed us.       ... seeing the redwoods and continued on past Carmel by the Sea to Marina, CA and have stopped for the night at Marina Dunes RV Park. It is very nice, and the folks that run it are very friendly. We might drive back down the coast about 15 miles in the morning and go to Carmel by the Sea for a little while. Then we plan to head inland either towards Kings Canyon or Yosemite. We will make that call tomorrow.
