Off we went, and it was immediately a challenge....uphill in some places, and very rocky. But up at the top it was a beautiful view, with other beautiful view along the way. The way down was very fun! It was not steep, but had long downhill stretched with some rocks, but just enough to make it enjoyable. Wheeeeee! ...

... to stop for snacks. We passed the University of the Incarnate Word, where my grandmother Dorothy Hoyt attended many years ago. On the ride back we passed the San Antonio Zoo, the Last Outpost, the Witte Museum, and the Art museum.
