Unfortunately, despite the active days, I'm not figuring out how to sleep effectively on the hard ground in a tent at night. Ethanol. Here was the trivia factoid of the day. Turns out Iowa is the top producing corn state in the country. ( Not the Corn Huskers of Nebraska!) 47% goes to ethanol production and they produce 30% of the ethanol. Who knew. Turns out Illinois is #2. ...

Spent last night in Eucha, Oklahoma with Linda and Earl. Linda and I were stationed on Okinawa together. It was great to catch up.
