Countries we’d go back to: There’s still a lot to see in Australia, we’d definitely go back to see the Outback and Great Barrier reef and other places. Belgium was fantastic, we’d go there again. And we saw so little of Greece, there are lots of other islands to get to besides Rhodes.
Blue skies! We headed out to Arlington War Cemetery and the Pentagon.
Walked to Arlington. Very nice. This is the first day when it isn't humid. Much better.
Had to walk across a bridge over the Potomac. Quite a plain bridge but had some great statues at each end. Check out the golden guardians.

... would have looked at in 1790. Spectacular! Ian and I found a giant head of Washington that was glowing in the visitor center. It was sort of creepy. He said “Ms. Allen it is like a Fat Head but a REAL fat head!” Ha! The students spread out to the various gift shops and spent some pennies on lovely souvenirs, and once again we went back to the bus. ... I didn't buy much but it is gonna kill going home to how expensive everything is. After shopping goodness I went to check out the natural history museum and luke went out to the national war cemetery at Arlington. Luke doesn't want to comment on this so therefore it is struck from the blog for all eternity... It is like it never happened... But he did say that I was the best girlfriend ever... Oh the power of the history recorder... I digress...
