After a long red-eye flight we arrived in DC at 5.00 in the morning a little blurry-eyed. Lee Rose kindly picked us up from the airport and took us back to his beautiful place at Arlington. We spent most of the day sleeping and watching the cricket. We managed to squeeze in a visit to the Arlington Cemetery where we saw the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier which was very impressive, as well as JFK's burial site.
