... instead, but they looked like something I could have bought at any jewelry store, and it was $20. I only had $10 in cash. Then, a pendant caught my eye: it was a little sun decorated with a pattern and an aqua blue stone in the center. It was small, simple, and unique. I asked how much that pendant was. "$5." I hastily purchased it, and he wrapped it up for me in a little bag. He smiled and told me thank you, and I thanked him in Arabic. "Shukran!" Mom made fun of ...

The metro also 17 to arrive. Special schedule because of maintenance. After that just a shuttle. I'll have a bite and then try to get some sleep. I've been upgraded to Economy Plus, so I guess I will and I do have some Ambiant left. I'm dead tired and hope not to fall asleep before my flight ...

And I mean this literally...  My friend Kathy and I decided to book a cruise to the Western Caribbean on the Norwegian EPIC.  Starting of with 2 days in Miami (as Kathy has never been) we then set sail on April 6th 2014 to cruise the Caribbean!  After all the snow and cold temperatures I can't wait to finally see the sun again :-)!  It has been a transition (and still is) getting used to the weather in Virginia after so many years in California!  Looks ...
