... Hotel until 8:00 that night as the city didn't seem to plan traffic control very well. We went thru the traditional areas by the Dubai Creek, had a good lunch in this Wali area, which was very Egyptian, down past the downtown core with the Burj Khalifa, tallest building in the world on to the beach & Marina area near Jumeiaha St, which is one of the more sought out neighbourhoods. There was a dance the two nights we camped there and it was a lot of fun learning to two step with people. I met a nice guy from Lyodminister Chad would Min and I chatted to most the night. The past week has been easy work and we havn't done to much, but it think it's going to change once the wedding is ...

... Vanessa about 12 years ago (on a Beatles fan fiction website!) we discovered that, despite our age difference, we had more in common than two total strangers ought to have. Vanessa is of English/Mexican heritage, and lives in Mexico City. We have been in close contact ever since 2002, and when the opportunity finally presented itself to go to Mexico for a spell to visit her, I jumped at the chance.
