    ... So I came home to a quiet place...but was good to be home.....great trip with a lot of memories...slept like a log.

    Thanks for sticking it out and hope I didn't bore ya to death.

    ohhh and if you are having a hard time deciding between a BMW K1600GT and R1200RT...get the RT...for sure.

    ... be the worst. Add to this the ****** cold I have had since before we left Kelowna - it has not actually gotten worse but it has been extremely annoying not being able to talk and this cough is driving me nuts!

    ... with new money, languages, customs and food really makes the brain work
    - it can take weeks of planning when you take a family of 5 to 5 countries
    - it will cost more than you think but travel always does and it's worth it.
    - they love to wear nylons and socks with flip flops - huge market for toe socks here!
    - always have some extra $ saved for something you forget about like a visa
    - bartering is a necessary skill
    - read as much as you can before you go ...

    ... rude awakening and I thought the A/C was bad in El Salvador! I certainly am going to miss the +30C temperatures.

    All in all, this trip was a great experience. El Salvador is a beautiful country and I'm glad I was able to participate in this project with a great group of people.
