Well, one bison is better than none, so we were satisfied enough and drove back to the hotel. Julia wanted to see a certain street with lit-up trees and nice stores, so we made a loop through the city and took another look at that particular area before returning to the hotel.

I got to Edmonton early one morning, having spent the night on the train. This was fine except I think the driver had been trying to make up for lost time by travelling at something close to warp speed. I say close to because it was actually pretty bumpy and uncomfortable, even lying down, so when I got off the train I found I was still swaying.
