      ... Deerfoot, traffic was light and made good time right to Bowden where I stopped for gas. Everything was in order on the bike. Continuing northbound I decided for one last blast on an secondary road so I took the 2A turn off at Ponoka, and prolly as a stalling tactic because as excited as I am to be getting home, I am sad the trip is ending. I stopped for a bite at the Ponoka A&W and when I got off the bike I found that the bungee cords holding my top Pelican case ...

      My sleepiness has passed and I am wide awake for the duration of the trip. The kilometers pass under us one by one, and the vehicles are driving and passing us as they usually do on that highway, like speed demons. When we reach the Edmonton city limits, Jim chooses to take the Whitemud to the north side instead of the Henday. “This might be faster,” he says. ...

      ... since it's not yet the Summer Hols) and, inside the buildings, often bugger all in the way of either furniture or contents ... and what there was was quite repetitive. There were a few bright spots, but not many. Still, it was worth a couple of hours to explore.

      Tomorrow, off to the West Edmonton Mall ... which used to be the biggest Mall in the world, until quite recently, and is still the biggest in North America.

      To bed at 12:30am....up at 3:30 am. I think airplanes should have sleeper cars. :) Airport time. I started my day by getting a storm warning from the customs agent about not declaring the beef jerky I have in my bag as a snack during the flight. Note to self, white lies are okay with customs agents. Movies are downloaded, mail is forwarded, eyes are tired but my smile is big. :) ****....I forgot my ...
