      Wed 29th Oct Finally caught some sleep after disruptive people banging doors and stomping down the hallway. Had arranged a 9 am pickup in a fancier taxi with more leg room, nice SUV with leather seats and a uniformed driver and he was 15 mins early, just as well I was. Arrived at the airport in plenty of time ...

      ... chowder were excellent. Unfortunately the lobster, scallops, and shrimp were not cooked through. So disappointed! That's never happened to me before. They did reverse the charge for my entire meal, though, and were very apologetic. Meh. Ended the night watching Draft Day with Mom and Andy. Surprisingly good movie! I was really entertained. And the number of notable actors that appeared was fun to recognize without checking Imdb. Wildlife ...

      ... more on the Canadian. Even though there were two bear sightings, I can not believe that I didn't see one wild animal during the whole 4-day trip! I did see plenty of pristine lakes, bubbling brooks, rushing white water rivers, meadows waving in the wind, etc. My eyes beheld God's beauty.

      ... with new money, languages, customs and food really makes the brain work
      - it can take weeks of planning when you take a family of 5 to 5 countries
      - it will cost more than you think but travel always does and it's worth it.
      - they love to wear nylons and socks with flip flops - huge market for toe socks here!
      - always have some extra $ saved for something you forget about like a visa
      - bartering is a necessary skill
