We spent the day hiking around this area and found a little lake a few kilometres up the river from where we were camping, Maude Lake it was called. We hiked up one peak that overlooked this lake, to the west we overlooked BC and to the east we looked over Alberta. We were right on the border on this peak and on top of the world! We swam in Maude Lake which has ice chunks floating around in it, literally take your breath away cold..literally! But so ...
