    ... of them from Canada. We did figure out the appeal of this place. From Needles, boaters can get to Lake Havasu down river and Lake Mojave up river. So clear dry desert air, warm winters, awesome sunsets, beautiful river and two lakes as well as unlimited water sports all adds up to a snowbirds paradise. It seems that it is also a getaway spot for the Greater LA area.
