    ... that we are entering the Edmonton city limits. Heidi decides to drive through the city, which is OK with me; I would do the same after being on the highway for so long. We pull into Heidi’s drive way at 5:50 and Jim is waiting there for me. We unload Heidi’s car into our Tahoe and her house. After 1833 kms and many adventures we are finally home!     ... to Vegas at 3pm, good timing...Vegas was great fun, soooo crazy busy though, no time for just relaxing, thank god we just had 3 days of it.     ... and already the views of the tree lined street impresses us but as she says soon it will be just empty branches as the leaves are already falling and one tree infact has already dropped all its leaves ahead of the crowd, after a bit of a chat etc and Val checking the meal it is soon ready and well what can i say hmmm words can't describe the taste it was soooooo fantabulous that the turkey melted in your mouth and the taste was sooo different to the ones i have tasted here ...

    ... time I bring back with me and old type written sheet, yellow from years spent in between Ukrainian Cookbooks with recipes for Pyrohy, Mediwynk, Holubtsi, Kutya, Borsch, Nanchynka & Nalysnyky...I bet you can`t pronounce it. But I bet you could eat it. My grandmother would make sure of that.

    So I guess it`s my turn to tell the kids that if they watched, they would learn.

    ... we got to the Idol competition, they had lost not only his registration, but his music, too! There was hell to pay, let me tell you! Rick's friend, Julie, is a Dynamo and went over to the guys to straighten them out. Any way, they found something very similar and used that. It was wonderful. Rick can sing.
