We were going to buy a museum pass card, which would let us into any of the museums, and the arc de triumph. We could by the card at any of these places. All fliers on L'Avion get access to a preflight lounge with snackies, drinks, and wireless access. The snacks were yummy, but not hot (so, better than a United Red Carpet Club [not hard to do] but not as good as Air New Zealand's Koru Club... or pretty much any other club in the Star Alliance ...

Dame Cathedral is one of those places that you see all the time in pictures, and people had told me that it doesn't really live up to how you think it will be.   And I am telling you that those people were on drugs.  Serious drugs.  Because I freaking loved Notre Dame.  Maybe its because I am a Disney freak and kept thinking I was Esmeralda.  Maybe it was because I had fun picking out my favorite gargoyles.  I don't know, but I loved this place.  It is so beautiful ...

... around. They obviously supplied restaurants also. Then we took the Metro to the Bastille. The kids wanted to go to a kids' store called La Baleine. We walked all over the 12th arr, but could never find the right street. We did see Gare de Lyon though; it's quite pretty from the outside. I really like the 12th. It looks like a great area to live. We exhausted ourselves searching for that street. We took the Metro to Republique and consoled ourselves ...

They were also ringing another office where a lady had translation software and was typing things into her computer and reading them to us!! It was bloody hilarious!! But we managed to get a quote and get Misty booked in for the 23rd of January to get fixed...so this is great as we will be staying at ...

Got to france at about 8, so didnt really feel like doing much, but we ended up walking all the way to mouline rouge, the eifel tower, went along the champs de elysee or so, well and pretty much did our sightseeing tour of paris. Walked home to monte mantre and were K.O. Next day just did more sightseeing, notre dame and stuff.... oh ye and got drunk at the river cause we had nothing else to do.
