The Hotel Le Clement is a nice, small hotel located in the 6th Arrondissement. The rooms were nice and comfortable, very clean, and reasonably priced, especially for the location. An easy walk to many restaurants and close to the Metro.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We were looking intently at this and he said there would be an illusion. Nothing happened. He then said "Ok, now look right". EIFFEL TOWER! That little jokester. After our driving tour, ...

... we entered, bought tickets, and descended many stories down a spiral staircase that I thought would never end. Then, we spent about 45 minutes walking through the extensive excavated tunnels until we got to the ossuary portion, which was filled with literally millions of bones, mostly femurs and skulls, were piled and stacked along the sides. You could literally just walking in these underground, man-made tunnels for the duration; the scale of them is astounding, ...

Late afternoon to counter any potential jet lag drowsiness, we visited Place des Vosges for coffee and playground visit. Kids pretty oblivious to the impressive beauty of the square, but more than happy to burn off some chocolat chauds and let off steam in the playground in the middle of the ...

So it was off to the Pompidou Centre this afternoon for both of us. Yay! Their collection is divided into modern art from 1905 - 1980 and 1980 to the present day. One of the most effective installations was a very critical comment on the mass fast fashion industry, called O'Black (Atelier Clandestine) by Malachi Farrell. ...
