We are exhausted. Mom brought a pedometer and it recorded us walking 13 miles today. I hurt. Early in the morning we went to the Louvre Museum and walked 6 miles through it! We saw so many famous works of art, our heads were spinning. There was a fire alarm that went off in the Louvre in the mummy section of the museum. I like to think one of the …

I am writing this from Paris! It is 10:17 pm. Mom and I have been awake for 36 hours with only about 3 hours of sleep (if you can call it that) on the plane. ... long climb up and out carrying MD, stroller, and backpack. Out on the street level, Sacre Couer is at the top of the highest hill in Paris so its an even longer climb up the streets, only to find a huge set of stairs at the top (like 200 steps straight up with no landings)...in lieu of the stairs we opt for the long way around on the steep street. And STILL there are stairs to take at the top!

Oh, but what a reward for taking the long way! We arrive ...

... Should have taken up that career in advertising

Getting back to the campaign, our plans to do all this sadly took a dump when we discovered that the cheapest flag we could find was 3 Euros....

But lets end on a more pleasant note. In the years to come, when I look back, the most enduring memory I'll have of Paris will be of the evening sun shining down the quiet old streets of our neighborhood in the 16th ...
