The Hotel Le Clement is a nice, small hotel located in the 6th Arrondissement. The rooms were nice and comfortable, very clean, and reasonably priced, especially for the location. An easy walk to many restaurants and close to the Metro.

The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

... Pearse – now a Parisian local. Cheese, pÔtÚ, foie gras, various meats ….

The cigars, music and fireworks working in tandem, (real) champagne, great company and food were simply terrific and it’ll be a night that none of us forget. Given we celebrated the 4th of July not that long ago we felt privileged to be included in ...

... It was not an easy place to find!

We toured the city a little and even tried our hand at putting a pad lock on the bridge where all lovers put their pad lock. If you thought romance was passÚ in Paris, all you have to do is look at Paris bridges to see it is being displayed in full force. For those of you who haven’t heard of them, here’s the story: A couple writes their ...

... amazing places. You will see some of amazing photos attached to the blog. We went to a very special museum called the Louvre. It's a massive art gallery with very very very expensive painting by famous artists. The Mona Lisa is a very important painting. I wonder if you can fin out who painted it? We also travelled on the double decker buses, and we were able to take photos of the very important Arch, called the Arc de Triomphe. It is also famous for being the finish ...

... In the end, we didn't get to say goodbye. We wandered around Budapest until it was time to depart for Paris. Next in the farce that was to become our worst travelling experience this trip, we were fleeced €160 for the privilege of travelling cattle-class in an overnight 6 person couchette (it would seem the $1300 we paid each for a first-class Eurail ticket meant nothing!). Then once we had boarded we discovered our beds were at the top of a human sandwich. There was ...

... as well. (Happens all the time, so I'm used to it). I saw on their menu a word similar to chocolate (I don't speak a lick of French), so I asked the man behind the counter, "do you have a mocha?" He says "no, just hot chocolate". I say "oh, ok" and ask for a cappuccino. He says "yes, French coffee is just terrible, isn't it?" Then proceeds to speak in French to another customer, most likely about me, and I heard the word Starbucks. Which I knew was a block away, and ...
