... is also a new pair of golf shoes, we didn't leave Australia with.

Annecy is a picture at the moment, quite cold but no snow. High 2 / Low -2. The Christmas night markets are on, and much bigger than they were in Avignon, and also far greater range of things. I must confess I did buy a top that you can wear 40 different ways, great for travelling as it is light, doesn't crush...all I ...

I feel a little bit lost as I'm very much ready to go out and do something and explore and adventure every evening, but because of our location, it's quite difficult to do without relying on someone here that has a car, which is only 2 people. We're pretty much in the middle of nowhere, with our apartments about ...

Car unpacked and sold.....26,000km and eight months of loyal service! Now all we have to do is cull all this stuff we have accumulated. We're hoping to find a charity shop in Annecy that will take it all......shoes & clothes, chiller bag, thermos flask, pillows etc etc. The good thing about having a car ...

... s name was even etched on one of the stone pillars. We spent a little over an hour here.

We stopped to pick up a sandwich before we left town. We wanted to stop and have lunch along the lake. It truly is a beautiful area. The sandwich we ordered didn't come as we ordered. We just wanted a cheese sandwich on baguette and got a grilled ham and cheese on baguette, like a panini. So, we stopped a little earlier for lunch on the lake while ...
