Friday was Olivia's last day in our little (emphasise little!) cabin, as she is off to spend a week with friends in Lyon. We decided the best option was to drive to Annecy, have lunch there, and a general wander around, with Olivia catching the 4 o'clock train to Lyon.

I hope you guys like these pictures. Take care :)

My sister and I planned a visit to his childhood town and home to see him! I cannot even put into words how fun that weekend was; seeing snow fall for the first time, hanging out with someone who it feels as if I have known my whole life, and interacting with a French family (exactly the type of experiences I came to France ...

We stopped to pick up a sandwich before we left town. We wanted to stop and have lunch along the lake. It truly is a beautiful area. The sandwich we ordered didn't come as we ordered. We just wanted a cheese sandwich on baguette and got a grilled ham and cheese on baguette, like a panini. So, we stopped a little earlier for lunch on the lake while ...
