E failed to get any lunch as we discovered that 11:11 is a bank holiday in France and everywhere was closed! So we arrived at the hotel at 5:00 pm and were starving! We checked in and the owner kindly provided us with pate and bread and a glass of red....perfect!

Last time I was here the weather was terrible, it rained for the whole duration...not this time!

Mont Revard winds it's way up from directly behind the town. On a sunny day it makes for superb views out over Aix Les Bains and lake Le Bourget. I ...

... be for ice cream. We people-watched as we enjoyed our ice cream. Before leaving Annecy we checked out some of the shops. Carole and I went back to the apartment for a quick nap before Arnaud came back from work. Then the three of us went to the lake in Sallanches for a swim.
