      ... side of lake Annecy. We caught up with them a couple of times and went with them for a drive up to the ski resorts of Megeve, Combloux and La Clusaz.....lots of cloud but not an inch of snow in sight, but Mont Blanc peeped above the clouds for a moment, to allow us a stunning photo and a break for a picnic lunch.

      ... to take this and a delightful chocolate éclair in we continued our walk.
      Next stop was the St Pierre Cathedral which was surprisingly deserted to what we had come to expect in Europe. From the Cathedral our stroll continued back down towards the lake where we checked the time and took a few snaps at the very popular if not abstract flower clock and finally spied the Geneva Water Fountain or Jet d’Eau shooting skywards.
