Excalibur Hotel Casino Las Vegas

We left Williams, Arizona this morning, headed for Las Vegas. Passing through Kingman, we ended our trip west on Route 66. By the time we got to the Hoover Dam it was 104 degrees F. This morning, we slept in for the first time on our trip. After grabbing a quick lunch at the food court, because we slept through breakfast, we played the slots at Excalibur for a little while. Then, we went on the time-share tour. We took a shuttle bus to their office where we were assigned our own personal sales woman. After a long night, we again slept in and took long showers. Arriving a little late for breakfast, we had brunch at the buffet at Excalibur. Did you ever hear my chocolate pudding story? U could say this day was a bit of a write off for me. Got up around 5pm, Fiona had already been out during the day going aroud the shops. Headed over to the new orleans casino for a bit. Drove down to the Luxor Casino late this morning. The Luxor has an Egyptian theme going, with a huge black glass pyramid, and a big fake Sphinx out the front. I changed my flight this morning to the same as Elle's from LA to Fiji as she mailed to say she had booked her tickets. Yeah! We arrived in Las Vegas about 2.00pm, after driving across a desert past a massive solar plant which must has been the size of 40 football pitches! There is no slow introduction to Vegas. Lola (our best friend) told us that going back via Vegas was the fastest route and also having received an email from Excalibur enticing us back with a special deal of $28 a night (we pay more than this for camp sites!!) After some great days in Los Angeles we headed for Las Vegas, Nevada to get some new and different impulses. Walking through the Excalibur and NY NY Casinos Instead of going street side right away. I knew there would be more to see if we walked through the connection to the Excalibur.
