After 30 or so hours we made it to Dubai! The 2hr first flight we had was very turbulent and gave the illusion of imminent death. With much relief we landed in Auckland for a 5 hr wait to connect to Melbourne. We were very happy to secure emergency exit seats for the next lot of flights all the way to Dubai. ... car and they were so funny. Rob and I both got to sit in the front, we stopped for photos out in the desert then again right on sunder but unfortunately we could barely see the sun because of the haze. I felt sorry for the builders working in the ...

To get to the mall we took the metro which is a train that goes under and above ground through the city. It was quite an interesting experience and did surprise me. When the train got to the station ...

... built harbour for a small fishing fleet which we check out before relaxing at the cafe with a cold one. A top spot with a beautiful view before you. We take the same track back and notice a heap of campervans and vehicles up on a headland. We guess it is a campground so decide to take a look. As we continue we realise we have entered private land .... on we go .... we then begin to think it might be a workers camp. As we drive up to the campervans we are ...
