I made an origami tulip, a Chinese knot and grouped up with milky and Juliet to make a Chinese lantern. We went to the next door courtyard for a traditional Chinese lunch and played a lot of 'guess what this ...

... a while the food came so we paused and chatted while we ate. Post food came sleep time, the most unsuccessful part of the flight as it still felt like the middle of the afternoon for us... Finally breakfast was served so we knew we must be landing soon, and indeed an hour later we were sitting on the tarmac in Shanghai being towed to a gate. We made it through the airport and found some chairs to start the 4 hour wait for the airport pickup to meet us (they only ...
