Back in The Netherlands a wedding mostly consists of a (boring) ceremony in church and a beautiful reception. But, like so many things, this is completely different in India. My cousin Suneet found himself a beautiful bride, so he arranged a four day wedding. Both of them were really looking forward to the wedding, they're head over heels in love.

Our second flight was in a bigger plane and was heading to Mumbai. The plane was equipped with personal dvd-players and luxurious seats. Every passenger got a blanket and a pillow, finally ...

... that we have been shown by the local people on this trip of mine has been phenomenal. The people we met in Gujarat have left yet another lasting impression on me about how many wonderful, welcoming, friendly people there are in this world of ours.

Asher's highlight: Lunch on the first day, the women were so good to us, and the food was just sumptuous. Seriously, my mouth is watering while I write this.

Asher's lowlight: Saying goodbye to everyone ...

Hundreds of police were filing away from the Stadium as we flew past on the bus - lunch consumed no doubt - and fully prepared for the policing operation the day after. Indian policemans order of priority during an Indian International cricket match goes something like this 1) Secure lunch and relaxing spot to eat 2) Decide whether ...
