Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). Went out for tea at the campsite across the roads' restaurant and got soaked in a thunder storm. Looking forward to a busy day at Playmobile land tomorrow. Fingers crossed for better weather ����☀ ...

... lives, past the English theatre and past the Deutsche Bank twin towers. We discovered a cool reflection pool near a sculpture called Kontinuitšt (continuity) and Steffie took some awesome photos!

On the way back to Heidelberg, Steffie stopped to do some shopping at the massive Loop 5 complex and ended up buying 50 Euros of baking supplies. She ended up ordering Chinese delivery and watching Supernatural with Paula for 5 hours, so it turned out to be a great day!

I am now in Holland for a short time to see some friends after first collecting my motorcycle which again has been excellently prepared by my friend Rob.
Now..... which direction...North, East, South or West? The best thing is not to plan too much and let the weather forecast be one of the deciding factors.

We did another weigh in before loading everything into the car and had to move a few more things around…how the weight of Connie's suitcase had increased 3kg overnight is a mystery. We got everything loaded up and were on our way. ... has lived with the legacy of these hideous atrocities. I saw how typical German's live. Despite all impressions I might have had, they are a kind and welcoming people. No where on this trip have I seen more powerful references to "never again" than on my brief stop through Stuttgart.
