We're in luck with the weather. Apparently the monsoons are hitting all of India except the far North where we are, so we have a sunny day. The bad news is that the rain is moving north so we should get it in the next day or two. Moderately cool as we leave Shimla for a convoluted exit through the narrow winding streets and traffic. Once out, it is more of the steep sided hills covered in greenery with houses dotted about. A general ...

... directly in front of me decides to have a throwing up session! Bless her, she limited herself to just under half an hour but her finale involved a lot more spitting. Eeew! After that I decided that the world would have to share this wonderous journey with me, so started to write my blog, until - Now! 3am. ... a smile. He explains to me what the festival is about. Something to do with Shiva and celebrating night and day! He invites me to get up and dance!! Although, I'll have to admit, I was somewhat tempted, I just couldn't find the guts to! Definitely outside my comfort zone remit that one!

I walk back to the guesthouse having fully enjoyed and soaked in Rewalsar. A fantastic place. Recommend it to anyone!

Back on Track - Love India!

... sound people. Their English isn't so good but we somehow manage to start a conversation and we sit altogether chatting about how mad Mandi and India are. They suggest somewhere to eat and we go off chatting and eating in a random little place that does fast food dosa. Wow, I'm getting so used to Indian food. And I eat at all the little street places. You can see the food being cooked and the turnover is so quick, it's probably the cleanest food around!
