The rainy season, the low visited period could be another great alternative to travel with less crowded travelers. You just need to know some good and reliable travel agents or tour operators in Thailand and simply give sometimes discussing with staff there. And you will know that Thailand has more than tours in Bangkok or Chiang Mai, Koh Samui Beaches or the Andaman Sea like Phuket or Krabi Beaches. During a few years ago, there has been a town rising in its appearance, and apparently becomi...

Yesterday we negotiated Bangkok public transportation and found our way to Hua Hin via a 3.5 hour "air conditioned" bus ride. We're trying to meet up with our friend Dawn, but so far no luck.
Last night we went to the night market and went wild; I'm going to have a hard time not bringing all of Thailand home with me in my ...

Hua Hin, Thailand stina.cili... do not move but keep watching you with those nasty little eyes. I don't care how cute you think they are, they creep me out.
I also went to see a brand-new, one day old elephant at the elephant sanctuary. It was all over the news, first baby born there in 3 years. Cute as can be, standing already but still nursing.
I had an interview with an English Language school, WEIC. She is opening a branch in the next town and ...

Hua Hin, Hua Hin, Thailand sukchai... lunch we went to the beach to relax for a few hours. We even saw some guys doing wind surfing. Later in the afternoon we made our way back to the minibus station and headed back to Bangkok. We actually got very lucky, because all the roads were blocked off due to a member of the royal family traveling. We were lucky because they were far behind us, so we had quick trip due to the onramps being blocked off. We made it back to Bangkok in record time.
Hua Hin, Thailand safety_first... Is that a word? My masterful motorbike man wasn't able to manuever our way around very easily and we reluctantly (him more than me) began to make plans for our departure. And now we are in the beach-side resort town of Hua Hin...only three hours from Bangkok...our final destination before heading home. And yes, we are again sleeping in the A/C and dipping in the pool. Our hotel is conveniently located between a Burger King and a ...
Hua Hin, Thailand bialaYesterday after laying out by the pool and perfecting my tan (yeah right), this Thai girl Nisa took us out to eat and dancing. We went to Hua Hin, which is about 15 min away and the nearest bigger city. So many Europeans there it was unbelievable. Felt like I was back in Holland again! Well, after we ate a delicious meal overlooking the water we went to a bar called Irish Bar (appropriately named). It was owned by a Scottish guy who said he knew the Irish name brought ...
Hua Hin, Thailand bree650... is there anything like this anywhere else in the world? often you can find incredible deals over there. i bought my driver there. it cost me 1500 baht - or about 40 usd - and it's a great driver. i love this driver. there are some shops there that specialize in second hand clubs imported from japan. apparently the japanese don't keep their clubs for very long. they buy new clubs and dump their old ones on a fairly regular basis. the ...
Cha-am, Thailand soidog... or splurging on a chair and umbrella (50 cents), reading, dozing, watching people, talking to them, buying freshly cut mango or pineapple from the beach vendors (they're soooo nice, but what a **** job to walk up and down the island all day, every day, in the sun, selling fruit and sarongs to the lazing farangs--Thai for foreigners/westerners...). Yesterday I actually got off my duff and did a bit of exercise and walked down to the southern tip of the island ...
