... The Prince of Wales' pub for a drink & still no wifi. Sitting on the sidewalk we watched all the elegant ladies pass all dressed up as they come back from the Flemington races, where the Melbourne cup had been run. Feeling the affects of our full on day, we headed back to our room about 9.30pm, to put up our restless legs. Home at 10pm and the end to an awesome adventure holiday. 4500km's and over 70 hours in the car over 2 weeks but i'd do it again tomorrow.

We met Esther and Bob at 9 o'clock and caught the tram down Elizabeth Street to Flinders Street. A short walk under the station and everyone had stopped. The Eureka Building appeared to be periodically discharging vapour from one section of the upper levels into the air and everyone was jostling for photographs. After crossing the pedestrian bridge to Southbank we purchased tickets for the 10.30 ferry to Williamstown. We had a little time to spare so ...

That first night in our new place was so cold! We had our flanelette sheets on, so we managed to stay warm, but our room was so cold we could see our breath as we were talking! We both felt really strange, it didn't feel like our place yet!
This morning (Monday) G had a cold shower as our hot water service wasn't working for some reason ...
