Decided the boys could go off looking at dead bricks while Ruth and I went shopping. Thought we would catch the bus, well after waiting ages for the bus to show up the driver did some sort of weird hand signal and stopped away from the bus stop. Ruth ran to catch it but he drove off. A couple seconds later a second bus came but we where not at the bus stop so he didn't stop. We started walking and town ...

Woke up a bit blah. The others got up had brekkie and headed to the beach. Decided I wasn't going to get any better staying in the unit so went down for a swim. Lovely. Not as warm as the mainland but amazingly clear.
Went and saw Nikos for lunch. Back to the sun beds and David went and got my goggles. He is a good husband. Went in and found some fish to look at.

It was very cute and the towns were as you imagined them to be, all quaint and white. Actually Paros reminded us of the Raglan shops but in a Greek setting. We hired a quad bike and checked out the island, going round different towns and beaches which was fun. We got to drive around the coast, meet a few different people, have a great ...

... some crazy version of the garden of Eden, where semi wild pea cocks, cats and turtles seem to coexist in peace and friendship amongst a small forest of Cyprus pines. On my final night, after another fantastic Greek meal, I headed to the open air cinema in kos town, which was incredibly beautiful, set in a courtyard dripping with vines, jasmine and bougainvillea with fireflies flitting about. It was so incredibly romantic, it was just too bad that my only company was my ice cream and ...
