    ... to not only revive the games, but ultimately wanted to change the way of the world through sport. It was incredibly inspiring to see.
    The children really enjoyed themselves, listening to the various displays, looking, touching and feeling the different items, and even being able to be interactive with the various Olympic torches over time. It was truly magical.

    ... Angela wowed us with fresh pizza. Mmmmm…felt like we were in a 5 star restaurant. Now that we knew where to get wine, we were on "sommelier duty" and she was the chef du jour! Once again she had us entranced with her European adventure stories, and had me making a mental note about all the Italian villages that we absolutely needed to visit.

    Ahhh…I love "restaurant" nights!

    ... to Gornergrat - the top of the mountain. As I said there are very few vehicles in Zermatt but there are these funny little electric taxis that buzz around everywhere, The trip up to Gornergrat takes about half an hour and there are four station stops on the way. The train runs on the two main rails but they have a third rail in the middle called the cog track which helps with the steep ascent ...

    ... a clock made of different size cow bells, so it chimed at times whilst I was there. I decided to have a fondue, it was a ham and cheese type for one, often the menu’s only cater for two, so this was an opportunity I couldn’t resist. At the restaurant it had copies of chapters of Heidi, yes Heidi is from Switzerland. I enjoyed reading some of those, and it brought back memories of when I was a child along with the movie with Shirley ...
