... Germans, English, Australians and Spaniards here tonight. I expect that more will still come. Tomorrow is a long day...27k. I have reserved a bed in a private Alberque so I don't need to rush. My routine is becoming to rest every hour and a half, take off my shoes and change socks at lunch and just trudge along. It is light until 9:30pm so I,m pretty sure that I will have enough ...

Morning: the route to Cea is only 19K which is about 11.4 miles. But the elevation of Ourense is 570 ft and Cea is 1600. Could take me awhile. Writing from Cea. Liz from England, Elizabeth from Australia and Lillian from Sweden are all here. Jose Maria and Bob ...

Had great shower with massage and then a long soak. I have just sat on the bed for hours. I even had a beer from the mini bar. Went out for a little while, ate dinner and came back. Sat on the bed more. While I was out, I saw Bob, Elizabeth and Jose-Maria. They are all Camino veterans who are on ...

Today, was the longest stage - 33K which is about 20 miles. It began with a very beautiful early morning flat section through cute villages and fields. I stopped for water at one of the Pilgrim Fountains and then the ascent began. It wasn't as bad a a Canda but it was steady..and long. Some of the trail was very rocky but it was dry so it didn't feel dangerous. At the top of the mountain, the village of Alberqueria has one of the ...

... quite far before I found it but I was confident that even though thee was no ATM that they would be able to give me cash if I went inside. NOT SO MUCH. So, after much back and forth and phone calls, the realized at Juan at the butcher shop next door had a Smart adapter for his iPhone. He fetched me, ran my MasterCard through his phone and for 3€ Commision i now have 100€. I was a miracle...thank you Apple and thank ...
