... 6 hours total with an average speed of 22km. I thought that was pretty good. We stopped to keep me fed and to grab a break from the trucks. Trish- you would have hated this ride.

As the weather is anticipated to change tomorrow and rain we have ordered a van from our hotel in Venice to come for us. More apply money to save time and misery. I sure hope it rains as hard as the forecasters predicted!

... second favorite thing about the trip would have to be the flooding of St. Marks Square. Luckily, it happened to turn into a sunny day and so it was refreshing to wade through the ankle deep water barefoot. I could have done it all day.
