      ... the dump station breaks from being stretched in the cold. Poop spewing everywhere! I feel like I'm in a Chevy Chase movie! And...Oh no! ... We are in France.       ... Nevers crossing the Loire River. Walked Nevers old town and found a lovely restaurant with fixed price plates. Oysters, then herring (for Sonja)' cold chicken & an egg (Alan's)' then lamb & steak respectively. All for 15€ each. Medieval towns we drove through & saw through the day were amazing & amazingly quiet - almost dead. ...

      ... 1st C AD, capable of seating about 16,000 toga-clad spectators! The ruins were easily accessible, and free to wander, so we took our picnic lunch up and sat on the theatre seats to enjoy our wine, cheese and baguette!       ... picked up. A small tornado started to form. The whole town went into a giant powercut. The lights eventually came back on, but then the thunder and lightning started.
