We were taken directly to the Orbita Hotel, with its very typical Soviet era design. Before long, we discovered that our room, like most hotel rooms in Belarus, did not have air conditioning. Frank spoke to the manager and within a short amount of time we learned there were no air conditioned rooms in the hotel and so we were brought a fan.
