      ... Probably something left over from the Soviet era. The riverfront is very nice with well thought out paths, ice skating rings, and places for social gatherings.  The Belarus National Art Museum was pretty impressive.  It mostly focused on Belarussian artists who really focused on the every day struggles of the country. Bottom line - I love Minsk and the people.  Hopefully Joan will get to accompany me on a future ...

      Can't force my brain to study any more today. Though i still have some time till it's complletely worn off for today to write down some notes on recent events.

      There's been a lot of them since i last wrote here:

      (1) I have seen the performance of Le Cirque du Soleil a week ago. The ticket i got in some mysterious way only one day before the performance! It was a present, which i found in my mailbox on last Friday morning. ...
