          Decided to take a morning excursion to Cassis even though we planned to disembark a day early in Marseille - turned out to be a great decision as we probably would not have bothered to get ourselves there on our own, & it is a beautiful town! Especially loved the little boat trip to three of the closest calanques. Soaked up the sunshine at a waterside café then wandered through the narrow back streets & through the bustling local market.

          ... only here for the snorkelling n sea. Bored we head back to our Camping Oasis have lunch and will head to a secluded bay for the afternoon. We have a final dip in the Mediterranean. We walk the coastal path a short way and enjoy a little sandy bay to ourselves. It's been a good lazy stop over here but I wouldn't want to stay any longer. We can't wait to head inland away from the holiday Coast. We want our old villages in the hills ...
